A DIY Night time Serum that has CHANGED my skin.
Updated: 7 days ago
Hey Friends! Welcome back.
Today I want to talk to you about your skin. My entire pregnancy, my skin was a disaster, one day it was breaking out like crazy and the next I had eye eczema so bad that I was embarrassed to leave the house. Those Hormones right? At least that is what I blamed it on. In reality it was a bad diet, products that were awful for my skin and immune system, and not enough water.
Obviously I didn't know the benefits of essential oils and how you can use them for so many things including skin issues ie: eczema, acne, scars, wrinkles, excess oil, dryness, or just a nice natural glow from within.
I used to be a skincare junkie, I would never spend more than $20 dollars on a T-shirt yet I could walk into high end drugstore and leave with $200 dollars of skin care telling myself I need this and its going to change my skin right? Wrong! I wasn't reading, Nor did I care about what ingredients were in the products I was purchasing and using on my face daily. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get my allergies under control or why my skin was still breaking out or getting contact dermatitis.
What I wish I knew then was a lot of skin issues or sensitivities has to do with the products you are using in your home, your makeup brushes (how often do you clean yours?), genetics, and hormonal imbalances. Download https://www.thinkdirtyapp.com/ this app please. You will immediately realize after the first product you scan in what ingredients are in that product, what it can cause and immediately a light will go off in your head and that will be your "wow" moment.
A big thing I have learned over the last few months is less is more, simple natural ingredients are so powerful if you use them correctly and you do not need all of these complicated ingredients to have amazing, glowing skin. Eat well, drink your water and make yourself a cost effective amazing serum with the recipe below!
-1 Glass dropper bottle (I just used an old one from the drugstore and cleaned it out)
-Carrier oil of choice (I use rosehip oil) you can use, almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, (just do your research on your skin type I noticed jojoba was too much moisture for my skin and It caused a breakout)
-10 Drops Frankinsense
-10 Drops Lavender
-5 Drops Lemon (Only use this if its for a nighttime serum)
-10 drops Copaiba
Shake it all up and you have an amazing nighttime serum for a beautiful complexion.
P.S- ALL of these oils come in your starter kit. Click here to get yours today.
