Detox Chicken Noodle Soup
Updated: Apr 2, 2020

Who has the flu or is trying desperately not to catch it ha-ha! It’s going around that’s for sure. Matt's mama came down with it this weekend and let’s face it, the only way I know how to help is to feed my friends and family when they’re in need ha-ha- That’s my love language.
This soup is full of nutrients, vitamins and minerals and SO comforting for these cold days up ahead. Now friends- I thought I had the best chicken soup recipe, but then I tried this bone broth from @bonesandmarrowbroth and oh my gosh, so much flavor and I felt so energized the next day it’s definitely a staple I will be keeping in our household this winter.
Ingredients:
-3-4 large chopped carrots
-1 cup chopped frozen kale from @westernfamilyca
-2 large white onions
-2 cloves of chopped garlic
-2 chopped red potatoes
-2 cups shredded chicken (I used leftover rotisserie)
-1 container of @bonemarrow bone broth
-1 cup egg noodles
Seasonings: 2 tsp. oregano, 2 bay leaves, 1 tsp. paprika, pink salt, pepper, 1 tsp. rosemary
Directions:
1. In large pot on medium to high heat add 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil, add onions, garlic and carrots and potatoes until fragrant.
2. Add @bonesandmarrow broth, seasonings, and bring to a boil.
3. Lower heat and simmer for 30 min
4. Add shredded chicken and noodles and frozen kale and simmer for 10-15 more minutes until noodles are tender.
This is truly the best chicken noodle soup I have made and the broth was definitely a huge factor. Definitely recommend.
